Massapequa, New York, resident Andrew Laurendi is pursuing studies in film production with a broader academic focus on communication and media studies. Andrew Laurendi began at Massapequa High School, earning a New York State Regents diploma. In his senior year, he became class president, gave daily morning announcements, and gained recognition as a student of the quarter.
Later, Andrew Laurendi attended Nassau Community College in Garden City, New York, for his communication and media studies. During the fall semester, he completed the course "Understanding Mass Media." He then moved to Long Island University Post Campus at Greenvale in New York for film studies, completing coursework covering basic motion picture production, writing, introduction to editing and sound, and the art of film/1900-1930.
Currently, Mr. Laurendi is pursuing a bachelor's degree in digital filmmaking online at the Los Angeles Film School in Hollywood, California. His coursework covers Independent Filmmaking, fundamentals of filmmaking, digital literacy, audio production, cinematography, lighting, and behavioral science.
In his free time, Mr. Laurendi enjoys going to the gym and working out. He also enjoys Broadway shows, attending concerts, and listening to pop and trending music.
